My 9 Movies Terms of Use
Published by My 9 Movies, an independent web project. Last updated: .
What does My 9 Movies provide?
My 9 Movies provides a free browser-based tool to arrange nine movies and export or share a personal movie grid. No account is required. Movie search, cover availability, and third-party services may change or become unavailable.
What may I upload, download, and share?
Only upload images and enter content that you have permission to use. You are responsible for the names, notes, artwork, and other content you choose to include and share.
The tool's ability to display or export a cover does not grant a license to the artwork. Movie artwork, names, and trademarks remain with their respective owners. Check the relevant source and rights holder's conditions before reusing an image, especially for public redistribution or commercial use.
My 9 Movies does not claim ownership of your uploaded images or movie rights and does not claim endorsement by movie studios or data providers.
Which third-party conditions apply?
Third-party terms and individual image conditions apply to the movie data and covers you use. See the data sources and image rights overview for provider details.
See also the TMDB API terms of use. The site does not represent that every available image is licensed for every form of reuse.
How should I protect my collection?
Keep a JSON backup if you want to retain your collection and uploaded covers. Local browser storage is not a permanent backup, and My 9 Movies does not provide an account-based recovery service.
Share links expose their included selections, names, notes, and online cover URLs to anyone with the link. Review that content before sharing. See the privacy notice for details.
What use of the service is expected?
Use the tool without interfering with other visitors, bypassing request limits, or attempting unauthorized access to the site or upstream services. Search may temporarily pause when providers or the site's request limits are reached.
Featured movie collections are editorial suggestions, not verified audience rankings. Movie data can be incomplete or inaccurate, and availability of the tool and third-party content is not guaranteed.
Who publishes these terms?
These terms are published under the My 9 Movies project name. No individual maintainer or legal operator is publicly listed. Current contact information status is available on the contact page.
